Noting that on the figure above the Raster Dataset has the size of 325Mb, contrary the composite files in ALG format have only 8 KB in size. This way can save our HarDisk capacity. We can open the Raster Dataset in ArcGIS directly. However, we need ECW Plugin to open ALG file in ArcGIS.
